Good service location friendly would go back anytime
The location was excellent for shopping and restaurants. Easy to get to the old city by cab. Located near a metro station. The room was good, but some upgrading in near future is recommended (chipped desk and cabinet).
There was no hotel guide book in the room. We missed having a guide with the usual explanations about laundry, TV use, etc.
It was very conveniently located for our trip in the centre of Montreal. We thought the price was good for the quality of the room. The staff was very friendly and most definitely helpful!
The room design is slightly more modern, for example, not having a completely closing and locking door on the bathroom. It's essentially like a cupboard door with no handles on the inside to close. We enjoyed our stay, however, if someone's looking for a traditional room, this is not necessarily the place to stay.
A great breakfast, close to the Bell Centre , a nice room
Spacious room, great bed, fantastic location
Staff was very helpful with everything we got our early check in late check out with no problem at all rooms were cleaned daily fresh towels sheets and it was close to everything we wanted to do i would stay again.
The only complaint I have is they charge you for local calls and dont tell you about it until check out time.
That it was downtown montreal, walking distance from shopping and restaurants.
The fact that the gym was not in use. I understand that it was closed for renovations however i wished that when looking up the hotel, the gym would not have been listed as a feature.
The location was perfect, we were literally steps away from the Bell Center, and all of the malls/stores and clubs.
The hotel was in a exelent location and rooms are clean
good position to train station, well situated for sight seeing, shopping.
we arrived to check in durring a fire alarm.i liked that the front desk staff was very cheerful, and informative, dispite the stressful situation
The food was asbolutely amazing. Compliments to the chef. My family and I ate there for a nice dinner and we couldn't get enough. The stuffed chicked with cranberries and goat cheese was to die for. The desserts were incredible. We ordered the new york style cheesecake, the white chocolate and maple syrup soufle, the creme brulee and the apply pie with vanilla icecream. We still talk about how amazing the food was and the service was fabulous- very friendly and quick. The restaurant supplied us with a high chair (twice, for dinner and breakfast) which was great. The room was very nice, beds were very comfortable. It was plenty spacious, and everything was well worth the money.
The only complaint any of us have is that the bathroom in the suite lacked a little bit of privacy. The double doors, even when fully closed have a gap in the middle making it easy to see through and there is no lock on those doors. Besides that everything was fantastic.
We really enjoyed the Novotel Montreal. This was our 3rd time to Montreal and this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in so far. The location was excellent...right between Bell Centre and St. Catherines St. The surrounding area felt safe. The hotel was quiet; there are nightclubs on this street but even with the window open, there was no trouble sleeping. (We stayed Thurs- Sunday)
Not really - my only suggestion would be that you can collect Aeroplan points while you stay, but there isn't alot of mention about this program. When we checked out I asked and the gentleman took my collector # and wrote it on a blank piece of paper. We'll see if they get credited to my account.
Convenience to good places to eat. Walking to several visitor places of interest was good.
Breakfast buffet and especially a la carte items over priced.
The excellent position in the centre of town only 20 meters from the airport bus stop. and 100 meters from the metro station. The rooms were very confortable and the staff welcoming.
